Reality Bites

And so do the mozzies!  I managed to come away seemingly unscathed from my trip to Samoa, unlike some Vun-Taps I know, right up until departures at Faleolo Airport where my feet got attacked, but I was happy to keep the dream alive for at least another week or so.

It’s been almost two months since leaving the Motherland and boy has it brought perspective on what should be a priority in life.

Let’s be honest, I spent a good week in foetal position after landing back in Sydney before heading back to work and yes, I literally dragged my feet all eight minutes of “walking” and in retrospect I can’t even remember if I slapped on a fake smile.

I was probably more peeved at having absolutely NOTHING to complain about!   I live opposite the beach so I was pretty much in the same scenery as Samoa right?  Plus, I only work part-time so plenty of down time to do cool things.  Sydney decided to put on some stunning weather just to rub it in that much more that I was “walking” in the opposite direction.

Anywho, where was I?  That’s right dragging and yet to be confirmed fake smile.  Five weeks down the track and I’ve finally decided to take a leap of faith out of my comfort zone and due to contractual obligations, I obviously can’t divulge such classified information at this point in time (even though I sneak in the odd Samoan fb statuses juhuhuhu) but should the stars align in my favour, our year of 2013: All or Nothing should be in full swing, so come on Chelsea, call me already:)

Nb: Staring at your phone, even with everyone’s eagle powers on your side, didn’t work today…I must be staring wrong.

In the meantime, here are a few vacay snaps, some taken by one of my older sisters.  Enjoy and seriously, what are ya waiting for?  Make the trip back to your Motherland already!  Have a great week and do what you LOVE and LOVE what you do:)
