Eyes on the road Rhonda!

Sawadee kaa from the beautiful kingdom of Thailand! Howdy strangers, remember me?  I’ve been M.I.A in the last few weeks now but I swear I have been keeping my nose clean and staying out of trouble!

Not to be confused with your average bum-arounder extraordinaire, she’s been a tad busy with awesome Baby Showers, Painting a bit, Baking a bit, Loving my job a bit and pretty much Focussing on stuffs a bit!   But absolutely nothing excuses my procrastinating nature of leaving things til the last minute when taking ACTION toward being a Bad-Ass Mutha-Trucka DJ is necessary.

So what’s new or should I say old?  I turned 30 almost 2 weeks ago now and currently blogging and living it up in Thailand for the past week.  I am even MORE GRATEFUL and loving life from this enriching experience and cannot stress enough the need for everyone I love to travel somewhere, anywhere!

Authentic Thai Cuisine
Best Pad Thai in the World! Enjoying dinner at the local Night Market in Rayong, Thailand!

Anywho, here’s the story so far.  My sister and I arrived last Thursday before reuniting with a dear friend of mine who graciously helped us explore and navigate Bangkok via Sky-train and the waterways.  We then made our way down to Rayong, her husband’s hometown, two hours south of Bangkok and this is where the magic begins!  On arrival we made our way across the street to their favourite outdoor “food court” with the best Pad Thai I’ve ever tasted, a far cry from the watered down Westernised version we’ve become accustomed to in our respective corners of the earth.  I can only imagine “eating out” every night like this and being served fresh and authentic home-cooked meals…TBC!

Hope you’ve enjoyed this brief snippet of life at the moment!  I can’t wait to get back on track with some uber awesome Thailand Tales to come, but as for now, I better get back to enjoying my last beautiful day in paradise!  Happy Phat Friday xx
